Qigong for Liver Health (Wood)

Creator: Qigong with Kseny
Type: Video Practice · Qigong

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the liver is the primary organ responsible for the smooth flow of Qi throughout the entire body. When liver Qi is flowing freely, the other organs receive what they need, when they need it. When it stagnates, everything downstream feels it. Emotionally, the liver is most commonly associated with anger, frustration, and suppressed rage—not as something “bad,” but as information signaling blocked movement.

I cycle through these practices specifically to support the liver and clear accumulated anger. The first time I practiced Liver Meridian Exercises | 10 Minute Daily Routine, I was seething with rage—white-hot, vibrating, unmistakable. Ten minutes later, I felt joy. Not bypassed. Not numbed. Moved. Rage to joy in ten minutes. I was genuinely astounded.

That moment sparked my deep, lasting love for Qigong—not as a concept, but as a visceral technology of transformation. These practices don’t ask you to suppress emotion; they give it a pathway. They remind the body how to circulate life again.
